Shopping is an experience. All the colors, fabrics and knickknacks are there to make you shop. Of course a happy browser becomes a buyer when...well, when they are happy. How do stores usually do this? Lollipops? Massages (I wish? Coupons? Na. Music! Duh!! There are actually studies which correlate music to happiness. I bring this up because I was in Urban Outfitters, shopping and doing my usual tradition of picking up everything I wanted then realizing that I didn't need; so I put it all back. Well, almost everything, I got this awesome tank top. Anyway, I was shopping when a song came on and I started bobbing my head and realized I couldn't place the artist. This song had a strong 80's style beat and I thought I heard all the great poppy 80's songs. I was so intrigued that I had to ask a customer specialist (Urban worker). Great thing about Urban Outfitters is that they are eager to help you out. My man came back to me and told me it is an artist named "Light Asylum" and the track name was PC. Popped the name in the good ol' computer and I found out this is a new artist! Regarldess if it is old or new I love this track. Makes me want to get up and start shaking my body everywhere. Take a listen to this track and enjoy!! I am about to play this mofo right now and shake my ass.

Sneaker Culture

If you're into sneaker culture then you must see (if you haven't already) Just For Kicks. Regardless, if you have or have not there was a smaller documentary made that was out on youtube titled Soled Out. It doesn't have the length or extensive history but it is well made and still holds up over the years. Check it out below, it's interesting to see how sneaker culture has changed/not changed over the past few years.
